The MHGS community begins the academic year with several events to help welcome all students, returning and incoming, to the community.  The first, is Orientation.  Learn more and register here.

The "Fall Forward:Arrive/Return" consists of a "Telling of the Story of MHGS" event and a Vespers Service. We'll also explore and enjoy Seattle and your neighborhood with Student Dinners. Additionally, we'll host an Artist Reception and a Mosaic Weekend for married couples later in September.

MHGS students, alumni, faculty, staff, and our families will gather at St. Mark's Cathedral in Seattle on Saturday, September 6th at 10:30am to welcome this year's incoming class, their families and friends, with a ceremony officially inviting them to our community. We will share in the Litany of Commitment offered to our new students and, as a community, join in the Celebration of Holy Communion.

Immediately after convocation, the MHGS Alumni are pleased to host a community potluck celebration. Join us and the entire MHGS community at Volunteer Park (an easy walk from St. Mark's). Bring a dish to share & hamburgers, hot dogs, and bocca burgers, and something to drink will be provided. You may wish to bring your own blankets and/or lawn chairs and to dress casually.
