Welcome to the Mars Hill Graduate School Writing Resources page, which exists to assist students with graduate-level writing and to promote superior writing among MHGS students, staff, and faculty. We offer a number of writing resources for students of every writing skill and ability.

We've created a selection of writing handouts for MHGS students. Also provided are links to writing resources on the web.
MHGS manages a list of Writing Tutors, who are available to assist MHGS students with writing tutoring. Writing Tutors are MHGS students who have been identified by faculty members and TAs as having excellent writing skills. Writing Tutors are not employed by MHGS; thus, students are responsible for paying for tutoring services. For more information or a list of MHGS-recommended tutors, email us.

The Writing Workshop provides a foundational understanding of the writing process and of Mars Hill Graduate School's academic writing standards. The Writing Workshop is held two times per year, and each session is appropriately tailored to the current trimester’s coursework.
